So you think 116 is better than 116?
The average temp in Dallas in July is 96 with average humidity of 60%. The average temp for Phoenix in July is 106 with average humidity of 32%. The heat index for Dallas in July is 116. The heat index for Phoenix in July is 116.

To escape the heat in Phoenix we can drive 2 hours to Flagstaff where it has never hit 100. Drive 300 miles and you're in San Diego. Drive 2 hours from Dallas and you're still asking FEMA for money for the tornado cleanup. Drive 300 miles and you are in the scenic beaches of Galveston. It's just like San Diego; only with HURRICANES!!! Wooo Hoooo.
