Afraid of BYU, UW bought way out of series....

Before the bowl game last year, BYU had beaten UW the last 3 of the last 4 times they played. From a competitive standpoint, I suppose I can understand why UW bought out BYU to get out of the series but for a big bad Pac-12 school it still felt a little weak.
