a fan at the first sight of adversity for the program. I have no other ties to BYU other than that of being a fan since I was young because of my dad. BUT, I am a fan no matter what happens with them. The only way I could stop being a fan is if they dropped sports altogether. Then, I'd have nothing left to cheer for since I never went to the school. I sincerely hope that never happens.

Your post makes it pretty clear to me you never really were a fan. It's pathetic because of the board name you chose and the facade you put on; acting as if you were a fan when, in reality, you're a fake.
