My understanding that the bowls have their own sources of revenue (sponsors etc)
that are separate from the CFP contract with ESPN. That contract is graduate and is expected to pay $475M this year and approximately $600M in 2024.

According to USA Today, the distribution of CFP net revenue is:

P5 = 71.5% split evenly among the conferences

G5 = 27% - they have a complex revenue sharing plan, some is across the board and some based on performance

ND = 1%

Indies = 0.5% split evenly - this year it's /2. Next year there will only by two so each will get 50% of this.
