Ask yourself this question, how is usu putting so many players in the
Nfl the last few years with such low ranked recruiting classes? Has it just been a lucky stretch finding diamonds in the rough? I don't think so. Especially considering they had a walk-on just sign an nfl deal as a linebacker.

Usu has a development system in place where they literally make their players bigger, faster, and stronger after they come. They have fostered a culture of living football 24/7 and the kids putting everything they have into it to getting better. At usu's pro day the scouts literally went out and measured the 40 yards to make sure it was legit because usu had guys running such fast 40s.

I know any year this could change and could all be lost in a quick second. However all indications right now are that that same attitude and culture is still carrying on the in the program.

I'm fully open to the idea they may not be very good next year. The one thing that is constant is change. But people don't realize the team on the field that Beat #23 northern Illinois is is mostly returning next year. Due to injuries and the style of usu has, a huge bulk of next years team either started or played substantial minutes that game.
