I just don't understand how he would think he wouldn't be getting enough time or opportunity. He was primed to have even more minutes with the KC injury. Is he wanting to play a whole 40 min per game and shoot 40 times a game with a low %? That isn't going to happen anywhere, but the minutes/shots he is getting at BYU is pretty high up there.

He also has publicly stated often how he loves his teammates.

A lack of opportunity didn't put him on the bench, and some would argue that coming off the bench didn't limit his opportunities either--- considering he still had starters minutes and his stats improved.

Still seems odd when a team captain decides to transfer when:
You get a ton of minutes/shots- many times leading the team
Likes everything in Provo- Teammates included
Team allows free play style
Team returns several seniors coming off a NCAA season

And as a captain leaves his team for his senior season. Still doesn't make sense to me. His teammates seemed blind-sighted by the decision, and with good reason.
