When you're on your 7th OC in 7 years, you've got a lot of lost boys who need direction, only they're gonna be guarded and not want to take direction unless you can get them to buy in. They won't buy in if they either don't like you or at least respect you. What's there to respect about a first year on the team OC who just got fired from his last job?
