One difference though. Riley Nelson didn't have a single

major college football program (unless you count Utah State) offer him a scholarship as a QB out of high school. Kendall Thompson signed with Oklahoma as a QB out of college.

I don't know if Kendall Thompson will be good, but I have confidence that he is a better passer than Riley Nelson.
