Watching an interview with Saban talking about the new college football playoff
He said the SEC championship game is essentially a playoff game in it of itself, and that it'll be more challenging to win championships now because of the SEC championship game.
Those comments make me think that the playoff committee will put a great deal of stock into conference championship games when selection time comes.
