I don't like Lavell. I never hated him because he didn't seem like a bad guy. But if he had been a Utah guy and then turned down the Utah job to stay at BYU and then continued to beat Utah, I would feel quite differently.

In addition, Utah didn't have a particularly strong football team during those years. Because of this, the losing wasn't as painful. When you go into a game as 3 TD underdogs and you lose, you don't care that much. BYU has been flustered by Utah in recent years and as many of you would attest, you certainly had the talent to win more of those games. That is more frustrating and causes you to pick things to be upset about.

I don't think Kyle is a classless guy like many of you do. At the same time, I understand your feelings towards him.
