Most here have watched him play against byu which have been far and away his worst games (Not to mention ansah and van noy dominated). Have you watched him many other games? I can understand someone saying they don't see the hype. In big games he definitely hasn't shown as well.

Here are just a few stats though. CBS sports has him as the 5th rated qb in the draft class next season right now (Converesly they have Taysom at #20 in 2016). And in his sophomore season he was 1 of 3 quarterbacks (Manziel and Mariota) to have a QB rating over 154 and rush over 600 yards. You can say he was playing WAC competition but he's also playing with a WAC o-line and WAC receivers. That hurts him when they go up against big teams.
