Not true. It is faster to go via Twin Falls. My wife and I relocated from
Seattle to Vegas last summer. She went through TF and I went through SLC. She beat me and I'm the faster driver. My only advice if you go through TF is make sure to fill up often. Gas stations are pretty sparse once you hit Nevada.
