Though Hartsock was limited on offense as a both-feet leaper & as an awkward-form dunker and very limited ball handler, there was no question he had better hops than Davies. As a post-scorer, Davies was (far) more coordinated, and certainly more nuanced & deceptive than Hartsock, I'll agree--but he was NOT more explosive. More explosive gets him to the ball first on the boards, which he was never too good at. I realize he was a bit shorter than Hartsock, but with his arms factored, he actually was a tad taller.
Hartsock was a better athlete than he got credit for, while the opposite is true for Davies.
