Could it be that you've seen more from them because they've actually played college ball and he hasn't yet? I agree that it's too early to say he's a star, but it's also too early to say he'll suck and you're basing it off of him as a 6'6 HS kid. Things can change. If anything, he could be a good defender, which is what BYU needs MUCH more than offense.
