My kids don't play them that much, so this is not the opinion of somebody whose family uses them as a primary form of entertainment. With that said, the XBox gets played and the Wii sits and gathers dust.

Once XBox added the Kinect, Wii lost its edge with the family type games. The Kinect is much more fun than the Wii mote. Anything the Wii can do, the Xbox now does better. And while Nintendo talks about their expansive list of games, most of them are garbage. Poor graphics and gameplay, usually just quickly thrown together to take advantage of the Wii mote.

However, after playing the new generation, I am thinking that after I am finished with this TDY, I will probably look at a PS4. The graphics are absolutely amazing.
