I'll take 5-7 good athletes/receivers over one Hoffman any day. That's all we had last year for consistency through the season, and even HE missed two games.

We don't need a 1000 yd guy. We have a bunch of weapons and can spread it around. Don't worry about them. You talk about Mathews ONLY having so much, and Apo ONLY having so much, but they also didn't even finish the year. If they're healthy, they'll produce decently. Add in another 4 or 5 guys capable of doing similar or better things and you've got yourself a CREW, not just one dude and some scrubs.

... Keep in mind... Hoffman was a true freshman. 3 of our biggest newcomers are NOT true freshmen. These guys are almost all better athletes than Hoffman too. But like I said, we're not worried about needing one guy to go crazy for us. We need everyone to contribute. Having 8+ good players rotating among the WR and TE positions will be great. Much better than one great player and a bunch of mediocre or injured players.
