Championship game. He started off by saying he absolutely agrees they have a definite conference champion with a 9 Game schedule and he whole heartedly agrees with that.

His problem with the Big 12 though is that the playoff right now is essentially 8 teams and 3 rounds with a conference championship game because if you lose that game, you're out of the playoff basically. With the Big 12 not having that championship game they are only having to go two rounds and don't have that extra layer of a playoff to go through the other conferences do.

This was on mike and mike this morning. I know there are a few flaws in that logic of that being 100% spot on, but I agree with him.
