He was actually listed at 6'8 in high school - and it wasn't a stretch.
He played on the low-block for Timpview and was significantly bigger than most kids he was playing against in Utah.

He is definitely athletic enough to compete at this level and strength isn't an issue. If you haven't played enough basketball, defense will be a problem (as it was with Mika last year). He didn't travel and play AAU ball and had his focus on football for most of his high school years, so basketball experience is a huge concern. If he will really focus, he can improve quickly, but defense will lag behind.

I know you're preaching the value he can bring to the defensive side - and some of that is certainly true, with size and strength - but defending a pick and roll and 1-on-1 in the post will be problems as they were last year.

I'm being serious when I said Worthington is more skilled - and I don't think he's a basketball player. We didn't see it at BYU last year, but he did some stuff on his highlight film in HS that was better than anything I saw from Kaufusi. What that actually looks like at the next level will probably be similar.
