I used a topwater frog and a 5" Wave Worms Bamboo Stick. I had planned on using some other topwater plugs, but I got sidetracked helping the kids.

The biggest bass I ever caught at night was a 6 lb largemouth on a black/blue jig with a Junebug colored Zoom Salty Big Chunk trailer.

I've caught several bass at night with 5" YUM Dingers, including a 4 pounder. I usually add scent and it seems that the bass can feel the vibrations in the water if you shake it enough and they aren't too far away.
