Cowboy fan would start by keeping his colors...but the Raider game is convenient so I'll go to that wearing my Cowboy jersey. Then the Raiders start to win a bit...and the Raiders become Cowboy fan's second favorite team. Cowboy fan's son on the other hand goes to school and everyone is excited about the new team and he wants Raider gear.

Couple that evolution with the fact that the big money would come in selling the Suites, and those guys could almost care less about what color the jersey is.

The team would never be the Cowboys...but then again, no team is. But I'd guess in very short order it's raking in revenue that exceeds what it ever got in Oakland. The 9er's are the Bay Area team now and really have been since Oakland bailed the first time. The Texas Raiders would be welcomed with open arms...

Heck, while they are building the stadium, maybe they play games in both the Alamo Dome and at the UT campus. Carolina did that for a while...

It could be done. Now how do you build the stadium, that's the long pole in the tent. But if you build a stadium along I-35 somewhere between S.A. and Austin...probably close to New Braunfels...you have the market to support it.

And if you don't tie the name to a city but instead to the state...you might even squeeze a few fans out of other parts of Texas.
