Well it's not like he did anything to keep the starting job there. He has yet to tackle the mental part of playing in a real game. He might wow at Miami in practice and then be the same old in games. We'll see though.
He didn't have a better shot here because he'd have to earn it back here as opposed to basically walking into a situation where he could easily start, which Kansas and Miami have both provided him with. He wouldn't have that same luxury here. No matter how good the program is or any of that stuff, based strictly on his chances of being a starter, leaving BYU was a good choice.
