But many of us feel Jake is not likely to pull it off. That is, if he even gets a shot. Personally,I think he was picked up primarily to be a seasoned, skilled backup. A great practice guy who, in a pinch, could come into a stagnated offense for a series--& give it a lift.
I wish he had transferred to someplace in the MWC or AAC--where his lack of athleticism probably doesn't matter as much. At the right place--& a place that'd give him a real chance--he's probably capable of putting up good numbers.
If he hasn't been entirely ruined in the journey, that is.
