with a 7yo boy, 3yo girl, 1yo boy, and pregnant wife, including visits to three sets of cousins and a Great Gramma, all spread across the Midwest. Gonna be an exciting trip in MANY ways, I'm sure!

As an aside, I'd welcome any recommendations on unique-to-area can't-miss eating establishments. Major cities we'll hit or be going through include Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Des Moines, Omaha, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and basically any route between all off them if your recommendation is somewhere in between.

I've already heard about the KC barbecue brisket, but could use the name of a good place.
