Had a great time with the family, and the kids (7, 3, 1) did amazingly well, considering we've driven 3500+ miles in the last 2 1/2 weeks. The kids got to see all of their cousins, met their Great Grandma for the first time, and we picked up 3 more ballparks for our count. Who knew something this insane could've gone so well?
We also spotted license plates from all 50 States (and over half the Canadian provinces) by day 6. We were so used to checking every license plate on the road by that point, we hadn't broken ourselves of the habit even by the end today.
Most amazing stat of the trip to me: In our escapades into and through 15 States, we crossed a State line 35 times!

Kind of ridiculous that we visited no one / nothing in either Iowa or Indiana, yet we drove through some part of them five times each!
All in all a really fun trip. If you've got kids of the right temperament, I'm discovering that roadtrips are a really great vacation.
