that's really how some players grow up and become adults is influential adults follow up with them on a regular basis to make sure they are doing what they are told. I personally would have liked to see a bit more effort made with JRP, because he admittedly had a rough first year, is non-LDS, and has enough talent to be a factor at some point. It may be that he won't get "it" until he's a junior, but the investment might have paid dividends. Not all players can be independent RMs who are low maintenance.
