"Convincing argument" is a stretch

Some scholars estimate between 10 to 20% were Muslims. Even if it were that high, it's a huge stretch to say: "establishing our country's agricultural economy and infrastructure was directly attributable to Muslims."

I don't find an optimistic 10 to 20% to be a convincing argument for that.
