Over $53 Million raised compared to $2 Million raised over same period last year. It is a great thing. The videos can be dumb but most people are having a good time and it is driving donations like nothing ever seen before. Money goes to help people with ALS and to research for treatments and cure, of which there are not presently. Hopefully other great causes can find similar ways to raise awareness and money.
