I have no doubt that potentially hundreds were geared up to look in each state. But that "30 different families" is still probably just a guess unless he personally greeted and took everyone's first/last name and 4 generation chart . And I'm guessing others may have shown up in Dallas as well or were on their way but with the concert there and traffic being bad they probably didn't stick around for all the stragglers.
