No, my argument is that locally held games are a manifestation/indicator
of local support. I think the UofH example is a great one to contrast against the bowl game in Dallas in 2011. I'm not saying there are plenty of great local fans in Dallas. What I am saying is that if there are so many, as Supercoug, represents, where were they at the bowl game in 2011? It was pretty sparse. I was there. Whereas, last year's UofH game, even if local support was half of the total, was extremely impressive as noted by many UofH colleagues and friends during and after the game.

Just don't come running with some BS about there being an overwhelming amount of BYU fans in the DFW relative to Houston. It's just not accurate. Even the numbers of wards and stakes regional to both metropolitan areas indicates that this wouldn't be true.
