1. January--decisive strategic change by Dave Rose to the starting line-up following an ugly four game losing streak;

2. March--Devastating ACL injury to All-WCC PG Kyle Collinsworth;

3. April Fools--transfer announcement of Matt Carlino;

4. June--the turnaround begins with the amazing tripartite summer windfall of exceptional talent as Dalton Nixon, Jake Toolson, and Corbin Kaufusi show up at practice and eventually join the team. Nixon and Toolson were announced on the front end while Kaufusi was best kept secret for six weeks before CB revelations in late July.

5. August--Collinsworth issues optimistic report on his recovery and announces his expected readiness for game #1; Jordan Ellis, the purest of the PG's on the practice floor, is moved up to the roster to support KC and Bartley at that spot;

6. July-August--Reports from open practices reek with optimism as Ty Haws improves shooting range, Worthington looks much trimmer, quicker, and generally improved, Aytes continues to emulate Keena Young, Neilson shows he can shoot and play defense, and of course, the promise of Corbinsanity is reported, first on CB and thereafter elsewhere;

7. No news is good news regarding KC from here to November. Until he shows he can play all out day after day, week after week, no news should tell us his recovery is "so far so good." The same is true for other recovering players, including Fischer, Winder, Chatman, and Austin. The return to good health of these key players constitute the last essential pieces that could enable Dave Rose to fashion one of the strongest and most complete teams in BYU history.
