I have found that it depends on what you buy, and you do have to be knowledgable

as to what things are selling for at regular stores. There are great deals to be had at Costco and Sam's Club, but you need to shop around to know if you got a good deal or not. I buy specific items at Sam's and I shop at regular stores for other items. Warehouse stores have their place, but they're not the be-all end-all of shopping.
