fell and cut his head open deep enough to need Glue/Stitches. She was cleaning up the blood and getting him settled to take him to the ER and asked her sister to call me.
Her sister calls and says in a freaked out and panic stricken tone, "We are taking *son's name* to the Hospital!" Then hangs up before I can say or ask anything... I try to call back, but can't get through.

HCBW calls me back a minute or two later and explains that it is just a cut that appears to need stitches... but that was not a happy moment.


Another time I called my wife to let her know I was on my way home and she answered with "I just hit a guy on a motorcycle, I need to go, bye."
Again I was left with a million questions until she called me back. Apparently she wanted to tell me more, but the cop was walking up to talk to her right as I called and so needed to focus on that.

Never fun when you get these panic filled calls that lack the needed detail.
