During my time @ Ohio State, I saw plenty of idiocy involving that

rivalry that was similar in pettiness/ugliness to what the anti-BYU crowd does...But it was certainly coming from both sides in that case.

One small school-sanctioned example (not really ugly but disrespectful): In the student fitness centers they have flags from each of the Big 10 schools hanging from the rafters, but the Michigan flag was always hung upside down.
