This was a chronic systemic cultural problem deeply embedded within the
university. This was clearly not limited to a few people. No way. Many combined as co-conspirators in various degrees. Many who should have said or done something did nothing; yet, their failure to act did not reach a level of criminality. It was just reprehensible. I cannot understand how people can be so quick to forget something so terrible, acting as though it did not stain the university as a whole, but was limited to just one or two people.

I would think that Penn State would be doing something to proactively get out front of child abuse and be the face of causes for protecting children. Get out there and do something other than try to rebuild your football program under new faces who were not part of the Sandusky scandal. Maybe they are doing that. If so, good for them. I am just not aware of it.
