There are plenty of BYU fans who wish to re-write history and forget their torrid love affair with RN at the end of the 2011 season, but pretty much everyone was drinking the Gritty Kool Aid after he faked out the Tulsa defense on the last play of the bowl game.
It wasn't until the 2012 Utah game that most people started to publicly express doubts about his abilities. By that time he was 10-3 as a starter, which is pretty respectable.
