I thought the opposite about going for the kill against UConn...
We scored 28 points in the first half (would have been more but for a few drives that were stalled by penalties).

2nd half was very dull and UConn had a few sustained drives that milked the clock. BYU also had 2 lost fumbles that probably took away more points from what would have been an even more impressive blowout.

With about 5 minutes left in the game, we were up 28 - 10, and I figured that would be the time we saw Stewart come in to milk the clock or just handed the ball off to finish the game (was obvious by that point UConn was not going to win). Instead, Taysom stayed in and led us on a drive to score with only a few minutes remaining. Lots of throwing down the field and aggressive play calling.

I get we didn't score as much as we would have liked, but I don't think it was due to a lack of killer instinct in this case...
