Max Hall had an air of arrogance and cockiness as a player

Didn't know him personally, but his comments after the Utah game did not show much introspection or self control. It would be easy to pile on, and many people will. Compassionate people will feel bad for him and especially his wife and kids. Substance addiction is a personal hell.
