You are completely wrong WY lost 2 games.
and NM was not any good when Urlacher was an unknown freshman. They finished the season at 6-5.

96 was a pretty good schedule no doubt. So is this. You are downplaying this years schedule by a ton. Seldom has BYU ever had a decent schedule like this. Is it the best ever - no, but it is probably in the top 10 ever. BYU has only ever had a couple of schedules that were even close to being elite schedules and that is when Utah and TCU were top 10 teams.

Last year TX beat the #2 team in the country and UCF was a top 10 team. I expect TX to be about the same. UCF should take a hit but we still have to see how much. There are four or five teams on our schedule that could realistically be ranked at the end of the year, or none of them might be. One thing is certain - not even Alabama would take a trip to TX lightly no matter how "down" the Longhorns are. If we win there the splash will be plenty big.

Its a little disingenuous to say that a team what may have been BYUs best ever would "fly thorough" this years schedule. I would hope so.
