Your first paragraph is what every "if you don't like it" person needs to read.

E.g. I loved BYU. There were plenty of things about it would have changed if I could have. But I loved way more than I hated. Why would I leave something when I totally love *most* of it and overall felt like it was a better option than any other for me?

Same with church - handful of things I really have issues with, whatever - but why would I leave when there's so much more that I love?

Same with my time in rexburg. Same with the city I currently live in. Same with my kids school. Same with my marriage. The list goes on and on. Nothing in life is that black and white.
