Exactly right here IMO. BYU has a tendancy to lose after big wins - the characteristic "BYU letdown" many of us describe. BYU would likely have lost that Houston game under the same circumstances in seasons past. Some of the details from that game have me uneasy for the rest of our season, but I do think it was a classic letdown trap game that we managed to handle. USC and VT had the same thing happen to them, only they lost. Are they terrible teams? No, but they let their big wins get them off their game. It can happen to anyone.
