IF you arrive on time and checked bags, you won't be out of the airport after renting a car until close to 2:00. It'll take you 15 mins. to deplane, and if you fly in on SWA it's a 10 minute walk from their gates out in Egypt to the bag claim. If the bags come in relatively quickly, you're across the street at the rental counter by 1:35 at the earliest. If there's no line there, it'll be 10 minutes to do the paperwork, and if you're renting from Enterprise plan on another 15 minutes out at the car going through their silly flashlight inspection. Best case you're rolling out of the airport at 1:50 or so after finding your car and loading you're stuff.

Now you're 50 miles from the game. Traffic shouldn't be terrible on a Saturday afternoon, but the Utah drivers are terrible 24/7. If you're alone, you can't use the HOV lane if there is traffic jams, but really doesn't matter since most Utah drivers get in the HOV lane and go the speed limit even if the other 4 lanes are completely open. Plan on an hour to get to the stadium neighborhood since you you're in an unfamiliar land, and you haven't even stopped for lunch or a refreshing caffeine free Coke.

You're looking for parking at 3:00. You find something, pay the man and hoof it to the stadium to arrive during halftime, but you're exhausted. You'll miss the play of the BYU Heisman candidate and only get to see the final 2 quarters of the BYU scout team play against your beloved UVA....

Honestly, I think the timing puts you at the stadium at 3:15 best case. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Lots of things have to go just right to make it there by then...
