It doesn't matter if your behavior changed. What your dad did

was wrong. Just because society at the time accepted that kind of behavior does not make it right. Can you honestly imagine Christ parenting like that?

I am sure your dad was just trying to do what he felt was right, but that doesn't make it right.

And for the record, my dad whooped me too, and I love him with all my heart. He is a good man. But that doesn't mean what he did was right.
