BYU wasn't paying attention because they were still waiting for the go-ahead signal from the nearby official. It came way late so they didn't get it kicked before the play clock hit zero. The head ref called a Delay penalty and made us kick it from the 30 instead. The first of many lame calls on the night, but it didn't end up hurting us too much.
