i go to games with an opponent worth watching = no season tickets for me
Some opponents are worth watching like Texas, Utah, etc. Others are harder to measure like Nevada. And some are simply a waste of time: Idaho St., Savannah St., Weber St., etc.

Maybe I'm not the fan I used to be but I won't even watch the BYU / Savannah St. game on TV. I'll check up on the score but what is the point of that game?

It isn't easy for BYU to schedule 6 quality home games, I get it. And in fact most P5 teams play some dogs at home. But this season and the season two years ago were particularly bad with respect to home opponents. I get no enjoyment watching BYU run over the likes of Weber St., Savannah St. etc. That's just me. So I don't buy season tickets anymore - I take it one week at a time.

note: I'm not saying it was much better in the MWC days but for some reason I was more tolerant of dogs like Wyoming because I hate them so much. I don't hate Savannah St - I simply don't care about them at all
