If I add the supplemental insurance policy at the same rate as my included group policy, it's only about $4 per month. If I use the 5X salary that you mentioned in your post, it seems that they will be charging me approximately $34 per month/$17 per pay period. Maybe that is a good deal for life insurance compared to other companies that are out there. I'm just honestly not sure since I've never dealt with this type of stuff at all.
