Horrible leg room and 18" of width describes every college football stadium
I've visited - Notre Dame, the Big House, the Swamp, UVA, Va. Tech etc. It's not as if LES is out of step with most college football stadiums. I think that's just the nature of the beast, at least with respect to seats I can afford.
