You've been all over my twitter feed today, so I will address this a little bit
For me football is not 1st, it's like, 9th, I'd say.

In each pool of fans, you get ones at each level of enthusiasm. For some, it's more important than personal health, spouse, personal morals/faith, children, work, education, friends, finances, vacation choices, or other leisure activities. For other's it's less important than all of this most of the time.

A big fan loves it, but understands it must take a back seat to other things in life, though he tries his best to work it in near the top. I think I just summed up 99% of all CBers in this statement. Having said that, you must understand that big fans may choose to go to just 1 game because that's all they can manage to maintain balance in their priorities. Others may find a way to go to all of the home games and keep balance. Others may catch all of the home games and trip in their 30' 5th wheel to Texas, as well (well done).

When it comes to choosing if I can pay my bills or spend $1000s on game tripping, it's not gonna happen. It's just the way it is. If I'm gonna drive up from Vegas for a game, I hope it is a better stadium experience than it currently is, but I accept it the way it is, with the above suggestions.

Rather than ranting about how everyone should drop everything and go to the games, otherwise they are not a loyal or strong fan, I suggest that you back down and encourage everyone try to go to one more game or increase their commitment in some small way.

For me, I went to 1 game last year. This year, I will go to two.
