We played at Wisconsin and at Notre Dame last year in November.
That wasn't so bad.
Also, we used to play in Laramie in November.
The value would be October and November home games against Iowa, Northwestern, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Nebraska...and may be once in a while Penn St., Michigan, or Ohio St. Meh to Iowa, Northwestern, Minnesota, and Illinois. Wisconsin and Nebraska would be solid. Ohio St., Penn St., or Michigan would be fantastic!
But it's not happening. No way will the Big Ten go for an arrangement that takes the conference from New Jersey and Maryland all the way to Utah...and that's ignoring the academic and CIC issues. If the Big Ten expands, it will be mostly south. The furthest westward expansion would be Kansas or Texas.
