I had the chance to attend 5 or 6 practices this year, and while it is a small sample size, it is bigger than a most posters. I have a few observations regarding Blackmon and his playing time.

1. He had a lot more drops than any of the other WR's vying for time
2. He was yelled at more often for not running precise routes and even incorrect routes
3. He was yelled at more often for blocking the wrong guy or just blocking poorly
4. When he was yelled at he always had to yell a few things back at the coach rather than just getting back and running the next play
5. He did make a lot of great plays, but he definitely made more mistakes than the other WR's

He'll get his chance because of his physical abilities but he is not as trusted as the other guys for good reason.
