I know that BYU needs P5 status, but I hate the idea of joining the B12.
BYU should absolutely join the B12 if it is invited, but it's the most boring conference to me. Sure, Texas and Oklahoma are great...but everyone else stinks.
Even though it's an inferior conference, I'd rather be in the B10 than the B12. I'd also rather be the B12's "Notre Dame" (with P5 status) than join the B12.
Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. Just win and everything will take care of itself.
Note: I'm assuming that P12 membership isn't even a remote possibility...which is probably a valid assumption.
